The Nursery School is a licensed program staffed by early childhood educators located at 2649A Concession Road (located within the South Branch Elementary School). We offer half-day programs from September to June in an educational and nurturing environment.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
|

Our program provides parents, children and teachers an opportunity to grow together. The needs of the
children are met with activities that promote a sense of accomplishment and development. Parents are
essential to the operation of the school and are participants in the program.
Free Play: Creative art, puzzles, books, dramatic play, blocks and construction, sensory [sand, water, playdough].

Music Circle: Structured group activity with action songs, games, finger plays and rhythm instruments. Children
learn to participate and take turns.
Group Learning: Music, drama, stories, crafts, experiments and group discussions are part of our
developmentally appropriate curriculum. Children are encouraged to ask and answer questions. Field trips
allow the children to explore the wider world around them.
Snack Time: The children share a nutritious snack during the program. The snack is provided by the
parent assisting with the program on that day.
Outdoor Play: A beautiful fenced playground with a play structure, sand box, paved surface for riding toys and
grass for running and rolling. There is a large choice of age appropriate toys to help children develop their gross motor skills.

The Nursery School Program is for children between the ages of 2 years 6 months and 4 years.
Children should be toilet trained.

There is a non-refundable $25.00 registration fee per family.
Morning program - $80.00/month
